The variety is late-ripening; the harvest matures in the second half of September. The vines are characterized by medium or vigorous growth and high yield. The bunches are medium-sized, compact, and cylindrical in shape. The berries are medium-sized, oval, with thick, elastic skin of a greenish-yellow or pink color and a harmonious sweet taste.
The plant possesses low winter hardiness and is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew; however, it is relatively resistant to drought and grey mold, and is not prone to millerandage or flower/ovary drop. The grapes accumulate 19–20% sugar with a low acidity of 5–6 g/dm³. The origin of the variety is unknown, while genetic studies show that the Bulgarian and Greek populations are different homonymous varieties.
