Kéknyelű B.2 is a clone of the Hungarian wine grape variety Kéknyelű, which is used for creating full-bodied dry wines with pronounced acidity and mineral notes. The variety is late-ripening, with harvest usually occurring in mid-October.
The plant has a functionally female flower type, which requires the presence of pollinator varieties for stable fruit set. The variety shows sensitivity to unfavorable flowering conditions and downy mildew, while possessing good resistance to frost and grey mold.
