Variety description

The variety is late-ripening and has a functionally female flower type, which requires the presence of pollinator varieties. The crop is sensitive to ovary shedding and downy mildew infection. The grape is characterized as demanding in terms of care and requires mandatory tying to a trellis.

The B.3 clone shows increased sensitivity to noble rot, which makes it suitable for the production of dessert wines. The variety's products are characterized by high acidity, pronounced minerality, and significant aging potential, typical of wines from volcanic soils.
