Krystalli is an indigenous Greek variety, considered to be native to the island of Crete. In official catalogs, the designation «B» indicates the white color of the berries. The variety is used both in winemaking and as a table grape.
The variety is actively used by breeders as genetic material to create new grape varieties, such as Elvis and Euclidis. In commercial cultivation outside of Greece, the variety is not widely distributed and is known primarily as a historical local species.
