ActiveVitis L. · Grapevine

10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing Schiava Grossa and Muscat of Alexandria. The vines are of medium vigor and require training and tying to supports during cultivation. Berry ripening occurs in the second half of September.
Clusters are medium-sized or large, conical, and often loose. Berries are large, round or oval, and have a fleshy, juicy pulp. The variety is distinguished by high productivity but is prone to flower drop and berry shriveling (millerandage) in unfavorable years.
The variety is sensitive to powdery mildew, gray mold, and grape berry moth, possesses low winter hardiness, and requires covering for the winter. Well-lit areas and fertile soils are necessary for full sugar accumulation and berry coloration.
