Variety description

The variety is a descendant of Muscat blanc à Petits Grains. The vine is vigorous, with upright shoots. Clusters are medium to large in size, pyramidal, often winged, and loose. Berries are medium, spheroidal, with a thick skin of a rich yellow-golden color. The pulp is juicy and slightly crisp.

The variety belongs to the mid-early group. It shows relative resistance to grey mold and winter frosts, but is sensitive to excoriose, as well as to iron and magnesium deficiency. The wines are distinguished by an aromatic profile with notes of muscat, spices, citrus, orange blossom, peach, and honey.
