The variety is a product of natural crossing between an unknown variety and Muscat Blanc. It is used primarily for the production of aromatic wines, most often rosé, as well as a table grape.
The flower is of a functionally female type, which necessitates cross-pollination with other varieties. The cluster is medium-sized and loose. The berries have a thin skin, and the color varies from pink-red to purple. The ripening period is medium or late.
The variety has high susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea due to the thin skin of the berries. The wines are distinguished by an intense aroma of rose petals with hints of red berries, cinnamon, and honey.
