The variety was obtained by crossing the Bican and Muscat Hamburg varieties. The vine is characterized by very large, dark green, five-lobed, deeply dissected leaves. The flower is hermaphroditic.
The clusters are large, cylindrical-conical in shape, often branched and relatively loose. The berries are very large, oval or egg-shaped, yellowish-amber in color with thick, firm skin and fleshy, juicy pulp.
The variety is sensitive to adverse environmental factors and has weak resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to downy mildew and gray mold. It is used mainly for fresh consumption and export, less often in winemaking and for raisin production.
