The variety is characterized by high vigor and an upright bush type. It is well-adapted to dry calcareous soils, resistant to frost and late frosts, and also demonstrates moderate susceptibility to diseases. Wines produced from this grape are distinguished by low alcohol content.
Young shoots have a tip with medium density of tomentum. Mature leaves are round or pentagonal in shape with five lobes and deep upper lateral sinuses; the petiole sinus has parallel edges or overlapping lobes. Berries are round in shape.
