The leaf is rounded, five-lobed, and slightly divided. The cluster is medium-sized, cylindro-conical in shape, and compact or of medium density. The berries are medium, round, straw-yellow or golden in color with a thick waxy bloom and thin, firm skin.
The variety is sensitive to environmental conditions, not resistant to frost, and prone to fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and grey mold. Due to early bud burst, it is susceptible to the risk of spring frosts. It prefers cultivation on well-ventilated hillsides.
A wine grape variety suitable for creating wines with good acidity and a low alcohol level. A light bitterness is often found in the aftertaste. In the region of origin, the 'Trentino pergola' vine training system is traditionally used.
