Variety description

The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing the Taylor variety with Vitis labrusca and Vitis riparia species. Bushes are vigorous; leaves are large, round, weakly lobed, often three-lobed. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, often with one wing, of moderate density.
Berries are small, round, light green with a yellowish hue, skin is thin. The variety matures in 120–130 days. The plant withstands frosts down to -25...-30°C and is resistant to downy mildew and phylloxera.
The variety has been used in winemaking and as a rootstock. In a number of countries, the cultivation of Noah for the production of quality wines is limited or prohibited due to the methanol content and specific taste.
