The variety is autochthonous to Sardinia and has a genetic relationship with the Hebén variety. The plants have high vigor, and the flower is hermaphroditic. The leaf is large, round or wedge-shaped, five- or seven-lobed, with a five- or seven-lobed incision and weak or medium pubescence on the underside.
The clusters are very large, cylindrical-conical in shape, and of medium density. The berries are large, round, dark blue, almost black in color, and covered with a thick waxy bloom. The skin is of medium thickness, and the pulp is fleshy and juicy with a neutral taste.
The variety belongs to the late maturity group; harvesting takes place in the first ten days of October. It shows high productivity and responds well to short pruning. It is moderately sensitive to powdery mildew, susceptible to grey mold, and its resistance to climatic conditions is assessed as moderate.
