The clone was isolated at the Badacsony Research Station. It is officially registered in the National Variety List of Hungary and is intended for use in winemaking.
The distinctive features of the clone are a higher sugar content in the must at ripening and bunch morphology: loose structure and small berries. These characteristics increase the plant's resistance to grey mold (Botrytis cinerea) and contribute to the production of wine with good consistency of taste.
