The variety is the result of a natural cross between the Alba Imputotato variety and an unknown pollinator variety. It belongs to the wine grape varieties and is currently found extremely rarely, mainly in the Somló wine region.

The flower of the variety is functionally female, which requires the presence of pollinators. The clusters are medium-sized and loose; the berries are yellowish-white in color with thin skin and high sugar content. The variety is characterized by low productivity and sensitivity to frost.

It is important to distinguish this variety from Arany Sárfehér (a synonym for Izsáki), which is more common, has strong growth, high yield, and is used in the production of sparkling wines.
