Irrigation in agriculture consists of a complex of measures for managing soil water, nutrient, and thermal regimes to ensure stable yields regardless of weather conditions. This method allows for increasing crop productivity several-fold compared to dryland farming and regulating end-product quality indicators, such as protein or oil content.
