The plant reaches a height of about 20 cm and belongs to early-maturing varieties with a development cycle from 60 to 90 days. It forms moderately dense heads of rounded, fleshy leaves of a bright red or dark red shade, which are characterized by distinct white veins.

The variety has good adaptability and tolerance to low temperatures, however, under unfavorable conditions such as drought or high temperature, it is prone to early bolting. The leaves are characterized by a slight bitterness, which makes them suitable for use fresh or after heat treatment.
