The variety forms compact heads 30–50 cm in height. The vegetation period is 90–120 days after sowing. The leaves feature a crisp texture, dark red color, and pronounced succulent petioles.

The plant possesses adaptability and the ability to tolerate light frosts. The crop is intended for summer sowing with an autumn harvest. Successful cultivation requires nutrient-rich drained soil and regular watering.

The variety is used as a salad crop. The leaves are consumed fresh and are also suitable for culinary processing: baking, grilling, or preparation as an ingredient in risottos and sauces.
