The variety is late-maturing; the period from sowing to harvest is 100–120 days. The plant forms a large, compact and dense head of round shape with a weight from 400 g to 800 g. The leaves are fleshy, dark red in color with pronounced white crunchy veins.

The plant possesses good resistance to low temperatures, which allows for harvesting in the winter period from January to March. The crop is used as a salad, and the dense structure of the heads ensures good keeping quality when stored in refrigerated conditions.

Recommended sowing times fall within the period from June to August. The planting scheme involves placing plants at a distance of 35–40 cm in the row and 40–50 cm between rows, which corresponds to a density of about 7 plants per 1 sq. m.
