Variety description

The variety is a deciduous shrub 1.5–2 meters tall with a crown width of 2–2.5 meters. The dark green lanceolate leaves, 10–25 cm long, have a characteristic rough texture and soft pubescence on the underside.

The inflorescences have a flattened shape with a diameter of 22–30 cm. The center consists of small violet-blue fertile flowers, surrounded at the edges by larger sterile flowers of a white or pale pink shade.

The plant is late-flowering, with the flowering period spanning from July to September. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness and prefers partial shade and areas protected from strong winds.
