The cultivar is a natural find discovered on the slopes of Mount Fuji in Japan. Unlike most representatives of the species with corymbose inflorescences, this cultivar forms globular-type inflorescences known as temari.

The flowers are pure white in color without blue shades. The plant is capable of reblooming in late summer. Compared to the Maiko cultivar, this cultivar may be taller and less profusely flowering.
