The spreading shrub reaches a height of 1.0 to 1.5 meters. The foliage is dark green, glossy, elliptical in shape with serrated edges. Inflorescences are flat, corymbose, consisting of pure white sterile marginal and fertile inner flowers, which may acquire a greenish hue when fading.

Flowering continues from June to September. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness down to -18 °C and lower, and is demanding of soil moisture and quality. The bush has a sturdy structure and is used in landscape design for planting in partial shade.
