The Edith Hopwood variety is a mid-season apple tree whose fruits are characterized by dessert qualities. When cultivated, there is a tendency for the fruits to drop before they reach full maturity.
The literature also mentions the Stoke Edith Pippin variety, which is characterized by golden skin with an orange blush and a spicy flavor. The name Edith is also often mistakenly associated with decorative coniferous species, such as blue spruce, or ornamental shrubs.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
