A tree with a dense, rounded, spreading crown and a semi-weeping growth habit reaching a height of 3.5–6 meters. Flowering is abundant; flowers are large, semi-double or double, pink in hue, developing from dark purple-red buds. Fruits are very small, yellow in color, and drop after ripening.
The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 3–8. The plant is characterized by high susceptibility to apple scab and fire blight, while low susceptibility to powdery mildew is noted. Fruits are inedible; the tree is used exclusively for decorative purposes or as a rootstock.
