The variety is a radiomutant obtained by irradiating scions of the Golden Delicious variety. The tree is medium-sized, forming a spherical crown thickened with short fruit twigs. It possesses resistance to scab and powdery mildew above the average level.
The fruits are of medium size, ranging in shape from flat-round to barrel-shaped. The skin is greenish-yellow with a diffused red blush, elastic and slightly oily. The flesh has a delicate consistency, is juicy, with a pronounced aroma and a sweet-and-sour taste.
The variety is of late-winter maturity group; the harvest is collected in mid-September, and the fruit consumption period lasts until December. The plant is undemanding to growing conditions, however, it requires good nutrition and regular rejuvenating pruning.
