The variety was obtained as a result of crossing James Grieve and Jonathan varieties. The tree bears fruit primarily on short branches; to maintain product quality and shape the crown, regular pruning is required, including summer pruning.
Fruits are medium-large or large, high-round or conical in shape. The skin is smooth, green-yellow in color with a carmine-red blush; the flesh is cream-colored, firm, moderately juicy, with a sweet-sour taste.
The variety belongs to the autumn maturity group; the harvest is collected in early September. Fruits are suitable for storage until December. The variety is characterized by annual bearing and moderate resistance to scab and powdery mildew.
