The apple variety bred by S. F. Chernenko belongs to the winter maturity group. The fruits are characterized by a large size, round or flat-round shape, and a sweet-sour taste. At harvest, the fruits have a green color, which becomes yellowish-green during storage, sometimes with the appearance of a blush. The trees are productive, and the fruits are suitable for storage.
Another known form is Delcorf Diana, which is a mutation of the Delcorf variety. This is an apple tree with medium to large bright red fruits. The variety is characterized by early fruiting, ripens from mid-August to early September, and requires fruit thinning due to a tendency toward alternate bearing.
