The tree is of medium vigor, reaching 4–7 meters in height, and possesses a rounded, spreading crown. In spring, the tree is abundantly covered with fragrant white flowers. The variety is early-ripening; fruits mature in August–September.

The fruits are small, with a mass of 11–16 g, and have a round-conical or oblong-oval shape. The skin is bright red or dark purple, often with a glaucous bloom. The flesh is cream-yellow, juicy, with a tart-sweet taste, and is rich in pectin.

The variety possesses high resistance to scab, rust, and powdery mildew; susceptibility to fire blight is assessed as moderate. The fruits are used for the preparation of jams, jellies, sauces, juices, and in cider production.
