The rootstock belongs to the M 9 group and provides low vigor to grafted trees, the height of which usually does not exceed 2.5–2.7 meters. Trees grafted on this rootstock enter into bearing in 2–4 years and are distinguished by high productivity and fruit quality.
The root system of the rootstock is located superficially, which causes low anchorage and necessitates the mandatory installation of trellises or stakes to support the tree throughout its entire life. The plants are demanding of high soil fertility and regular irrigation, as they poorly tolerate drought conditions.
