The tree reaches a height of about 4 meters. Young foliage has a copper-red or purple hue, which becomes green over time. Flowering occurs in mid-April; the flowers are distinguished by their large size and salmon-pink or bright pink coloration.
Fruits with a diameter of up to 5 cm have a rich red-purple color and can remain on the branches for a long time. The variety is versatile in its use: as a decorative landscape element and as a raw material for making jelly. The plant is winter-hardy and resistant to urban environmental conditions.
