Variety description

The plant has a compact habit and forms a dense clump with gracefully curved leaves 0.7–1 cm wide. In autumn, the stems acquire a lemon hue. The inflorescences are delicate panicles, which are powder-pink at the beginning of flowering, changing later to beige-brown.
The variety has good winter hardiness (zone 5a, down to –29°C) and drought tolerance. The plant is undemanding and develops best in sunny areas. Recommended for use in private gardens, urban landscapes, ornamental grass compositions, mixed borders, and also for container cultivation.
