The tree is characterized by an upright canopy shape and dense foliage with moderately slow vegetative growth. The variety is distinguished by high and stable yields, early flowering, and partial self-pollination ability.
The fruits are small, elliptical in shape, changing color from green to black during the ripening process. The oil content of the fruits is 15–17%. The resulting oil has an intense flavor with notes of fruit, vegetables, herbs, almond, and tomato, with a pronounced spicy and moderately bitter aftertaste.
The variety has high adaptability to local conditions, however, it is characterized by low cold tolerance. High susceptibility to olive peacock spot and the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa is noted.
