The Olivo di Cerreto variety is a local (autochthonous) genotype from the Tuscany region, Italy, predominantly distributed in the vicinity of Cerreto Guidi. The plant is distinguished by vigorous growth, forms a dense crown, and is characterized by a weeping branching pattern with thin shoots and short internodes.
The leaves of the variety are lanceolate in shape, small in size, and gray-green in color. The inflorescences are long and compact, with a moderate number of flowers. The genetic uniqueness of the variety has been confirmed by studies using microsatellite markers, which distinguishes it as a separate object of the region's agrobiodiversity.
