Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is native to the Calabria region and is genetically related to the Mafra and Spezzanese varieties. Its fruits are distinguished by their large size and ovoid shape, and the trees themselves have medium to low vigor with a dense, spreading-ascending crown.

The leaves of the variety are elliptic-lanceolate, of medium length and width, and light green in color. The inflorescences are compact, of medium length, with a small number of flowers. The fruits ripen quickly, and the tree is able to maintain productivity even in the absence of irrigation.
