Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program started in 1991 by crossing the Nocellara messinese and Buscionetto varieties. It is classified as a dual-purpose crop, suitable both for consumption as a table olive and for oil extraction.

Currently, the variety is at the stage of agronomic and technological evaluation within the framework of pilot projects to confirm the efficiency of cultivation on an industrial scale. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as precise plant height or disease resistance indicators, are limited in open scientific publications.
