The tree is characterized by medium vigor, a spreading crown shape, and medium foliage density. The fruits have a medium or above-average weight of about 4.5 g, a spherical shape, and an average caliber of about 18 mm. The flesh-to-pit ratio is 5.2.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinator trees, such as Coratina or Ogliarola barese. The onset of bearing is late, and productivity is medium. The oil is characterized by a delicate aroma and a high content of palmitoleic, margaric, and linolenic acids.
