Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a local Italian olive tree cultivar. Its name, translated from the local dialect, means "the runaway," which is due to the characteristic upward growth habit of its branches, which makes pruning the trees difficult.

The plant is characterized by strong growth and an upright branching pattern. In the region of cultivation, specimens over a hundred years old can be found.
