The variety is native to the Antequera area in the province of Malaga, Spain, and is also known as Romerilla. In industrial production, it is considered a minor variety whose share is significantly lower than that of the main Hojiblanca variety.

Oil produced with the addition of this variety is distinguished by an aroma with notes of fruitiness, green grass, banana, and almond. The flavor of the oil is characterized as balanced, combining slight bitterness and pungency with shades of sweetness.

Detailed morphological characteristics of the tree, including height and crown shape, as well as agrotechnical indicators such as ripening time and disease resistance, are not recorded in available materials.
