Gordalejo is a synonym of the Manzanilla de Jaén variety and has a genetic link to the Gordal de Granada variety. Manzanilla de Jaén is an autochthonous Spanish variety from the provinces of Jaén and Córdoba, classified as a dual-purpose variety.

Manzanilla del Centro is widespread in the Castile-La Mancha region, is used as a table variety, and is characterized by a good pulp-to-pit ratio and low resistance to olive knot (Pseudomonas savastanoi).

Nabali is widespread in Palestine and Jordan and is classified as a dual-purpose variety. It is characterized by a high concentration of phenolic compounds; for table use, it is harvested at the green maturity stage.
