The tree has medium vigor and a very dense crown. The branches have an assurgent growth habit, while being thin and weeping, with a slight curve at the tips. Leaves are lanceolate and of medium size. Inflorescences are relatively short, of medium density, with a moderate number of flowers.

The variety is of the oil-producing type. The oil has a specific sensory profile with a dominant note of sweet pepper. The variety is included in the national register of varieties of Italy and is used in local blends, including oil with protected designation of origin DOP Chianti Classico.
