The tree has medium vigor and forms a dense crown with a tendency toward spreading and pendulous branches. The leaves are medium-sized, elliptic-lanceolate, and dark green. The fruits are very large, weighing 8–12 g, with an elongated-ellipsoidal asymmetric shape, a flat base, and a tapering apex. The flesh is firm and accounts for about 75% of the fruit weight.
The variety is early-maturing and a table cultivar, primarily used for canning. The tree is self-incompatible; other varieties such as Maurino, Coratina, Pendolino, Frantoio, Leccino, or Olivastra are required for pollination. Yield is medium and prone to alternate bearing. The plant is demanding regarding soils and irrigation, and is sensitive to low temperatures, drought, and pests.
