The Justa olive is a traditional variety grown in the Campomaggiore, Nova Siri, and Colobraro area. Trees of this variety are characterized by great longevity, with individual specimens reaching an age of over a thousand years.

The fruits are primarily used for producing extra virgin olive oil. The taste of the finished product is described as harmonious and delicate. The variety is often used in blends with other local varieties, such as Majatica, and is officially included in the list for the production of oil with the IGP Olio Lucano geographical indication.
