Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is distinguished by high growth vigor and a dense upright crown with medium-sized elliptical-lanceolate leaves. The fruits have medium to large mass, an elliptical asymmetric shape with a characteristic nipple-like projection, and turn wine-purple or red upon ripening.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators, such as Leccino or Pendolino. Fructification may be irregular. Harvesting occurs late, from autumn to February–March. The plant tolerates cold well and is resistant to Spilocaea oleaginea, but is susceptible to the olive fruit fly.

The produce is used for both canning and oil extraction. Table olives are valued for their easily separable flesh. The resulting oil possesses a balanced taste with a herbaceous aroma, fruity notes, and a slight pungency.
