ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety is endemic to the Lodévois region in the Hérault department, France. Genetically, the variety is linked to the influence of the Iberian Peninsula, which explains the large size of the fruit. The tree is characterized by good development, high rusticity, and the ability to bear fruit regularly.
It is used as a secondary variety in oil production, including as part of the AOP «Huile d'olive du Languedoc», as well as a table olive. The oil is distinguished by herbaceous notes, aromas of asparagus, green tomato, or fresh walnut. The variety is not self-fertile and requires cross-pollination.
