The variety is a local genotype from the Cingoli area. It is genetically close to the Mignola and Orbetana varieties. The tree has high growth vigor and forms a dense, voluminous crown with semi-erect branches. The leaves are elliptical in shape, large, deep green in color, with a frequently wavy or spiral-shaped blade.
The variety belongs to the oil-producing type. It is characterized by moderate yield with evidence of alternate bearing. In comparative studies, the variety showed one of the highest resistances to low temperatures among Italian olives.
