The material was obtained based on the selection of wild olive genotypes collected in various regions of the Mediterranean. It is used as a base for grafting cultivated varieties, such as Picual or Arbequina.
The primary purpose of the rootstock is to increase the resistance of olive plantations to diseases, in particular to Verticillium wilt. Ripening and fruit quality indicators are not applicable to this variety, as it is not intended for crop production.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
