The Redondilla de Logroño tree has an open crown type with sparse foliage and is characterized by a low level of vigor. The variety is undemanding, tolerates cold and drought well, and resistance to major diseases, such as leaf spot and olive knot, is assessed as medium.

The small fruits mature at a medium time and are easily detached from the pedicel during harvest. The resulting olive oil has a yellowish-green color, a high oleic acid content, and a balanced taste with fruity notes of apple and almond.
