The tree is characterized by a spreading crown shape and medium vigor. The fruit color during ripening changes from yellow-green to wine-red; numerous small lenticels and bloom are visible on the skin.
The variety is considered undemanding and hardy, with a low percentage of morphological sterility (pistil abortion is about 2.26%). In scientific studies, it is noted as a cultivar that does not show symptoms of olive knot, caused by Pseudomonas savastanoi.
