The Rotondella variety tree has moderate vigor and a characteristic drooping crown shape. Leaves are elliptical in shape, of medium size, and have a dark green shade.

Fruits are ovoid, small to medium in size with an average weight of about 2.4 g, acquiring a pinkish hue during the harvesting period. The variety is valued for its high oil yield, reaching 23%.

The plant is well-adapted to growth in hilly areas on rocky soils with southern exposure. The yield of the variety is estimated as high but is characterized by irregularity.
