The tree of this variety is relatively short, reaching a height of 4 to 8 meters. The fruits are large in size, oval in shape, and characterized by the absence of a protruding nipple at the apex.

The variety is used in the production of both green table olives and black 'wrinkled' fruits. The crop is grown primarily in the Greek regions of Corfu, Rovies, and Chalkidiki, and is also frequently identified with the Vasilakada variety.
