The Rosinjola variety is characterized by vigorous growth and a dense rounded crown that requires regular pruning. The tree serves as a good pollinator for local varieties. The variety is resistant to peacock spot (Cycloconium oleaginum), but susceptible to olive fruit fly attacks. The resulting oil possesses an intense aroma with notes of green olive, artichoke, herbs, and almond, as well as pronounced bitterness and pungency.

The Drobnica variety is a medium-sized tree with a sparse crown and upward-directed branches. The leaves are short, and the fruits are small with a weight of up to 2.2 g, ovoid in shape, turning wine-red upon ripening. The variety is considered mid-early, resistant to drought, wind, low temperatures, and olive knot (Pseudomonas savastanoi), but susceptible to leaf spot and sooty mold. The oil is characterized by pungency, bitterness, and a sweetish aftertaste.
